Back in September, I did some publicity photos for Ray Lanich, who is an up-and-coming musician who, not only plays the local circuit, but also has played in Toledo, Pittsburgh and NYC. For more information on Ray Lanich and his music, you can visit http://www.reverbnation.com/raylanich.

Guns and Hoses Charity Hockey Game

Information below from WICU 12 News - Erie, PA:

The first annual "Guns and Hoses" hockey game took place in Erie on 12/18/2010 at the Tullio Arena.  Area firefighters and police officers came together for a great cause, to support The Children's Advocacy Center.

Erie Otters Head Coach, Robbie Ftorek led the "hoses" team while Otters Assistant, Peter Sidorkiewicz headed the guns team.  District Attorney, Jack Daneri and Millcreek Supervisor and former police officer, Richard Figaski together dropped the ceremonial first puck.

In the end the hoses beat the guns this time around by a final score of 9 to 3.  Both teams are already planning for next year and thinking of other charities that may benefit.

Norm and Tanya's Wedding

I was glad to be asked to shoot a wedding for a friend, but wondered what to expect...I was told the wedding would be at a funeral home. You read right...a funeral home. But, at the same time, I figured "..at least I'm going to a funeral home for a good reason" (this also sounded funny to me...).

The wedding went great and the reception at the Wattsburg Hose Company social hall was fun too! Thanks to both of you (and the boys) for allowing me to be a part of your special day! Below are a few pics...

Ed and Amy's Wedding

I got to go to a wedding as a guest for a change instead of as the "hired gun". Still lug my gear around and got a few nice pictures for them. Congrats to you both in your marriage as well as your move to Colorado! We will all miss you and wish you both the best!

Carley Senior Pictures

Here are a few pics from Carley's senior portrait shoot at Presque Isle on Friday. We couldn't have asked for better weather for October! Thanks Mother Nature and thanks to Carley (and mom) for a fun shoot!

Busy Weekend

For the first time in a while, the gear got a workout!

Friday, after working the full time job, took a road trip to Clarion to photograph Ray Lanich (facebook.com/lanichmusic) doing a radio spot on WCUC at Clarion University. Right after that, beat feet back to Erie to do a senior portrait shoot at Presque Isle.

I took a day for myself on Saturday and enjoyed a Pens game (they lost, but the trip with friends was fun and you can't beat a Primanti sandwich)!

Sunday, I got to take pictures as a guest for our friends Ed and Amy and their wedding. It was a great time as I got to meet up with a bunch of old friends from my Emergycare days. I didn't want to leave, but had to get a little bit of rest before getting back to the grind!

I have the Ray Lanich and the senior pictures done. I hope to get them posted sometime later today. The wedding pics I hope to have up later this week.

We will be going to NYC next weekend for a Ray Lanich show. I am really excited for this one! Also have a possible wedding at the end of the month, so stay tuned for those!

Welcome to our Blog!

Hello everyone!

I decided to make it easier for folks to follow what we're doing at Matt Fuller Photography, I would start a blog to showcase a little bit of our work.

For those of you who don't know who we are, or what we're about, I will tell you a little bit about what I do. I am currently a public safety dispatcher in Erie County, PA. I am also a volunteer firefighter/EMT and am involved in Amateur Radio. In what little spare time I have left, I enjoy doing photography as a hobby, and at times, get to shoot a wedding or portraits with the help of my wife. I am available for weddings and on location portraits. Please see our website http://www.mattfullerphoto.com for more information.

We hope you enjoy our blog and we hope to keep it up-to-date with some of the work we have done.

Keep smiling!

-Matt
